Featured Pet: Mila

This is Milagro, Mila (Mee-la) for short. She is truly a little miracle. Mila was found over the Labor Day weekend in my neighbor's back yard at about 8 weeks of age. She was emaciated and had a serious limp, but was determined to make it. It turns out she had a fractured pelvis and a fractured head of the right femur. With the help of some extremely generous cat-loving friends, she was able to have the necessary pain-relieving surgery, which was kindly provided by the caring and compassionate Aztec Clinic staff at cost. She is doing very well now, hardly limps at all and runs and plays with the cats in my house. Her pelvic canal is slightly narrowed so she is currently taking a stool softener to prevent constipation. This may or may not be required in the future. She has been living with a Border Collie Cross and 6 cats, so she is quite used to other animals. If you're willing to open your heart and home to this little "Wunderkind," please call me at 280-2443. I love her dearly, but already have 6 cats. All we want for her is a safe and loving home which she certainly deserves. Thanks, Other Featured Pets
