Cathy, Registered Veterinary Technician

Cathy graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at the College of Southern Idaho with an Associates degree in Applied Science. She also has a Bachelors degree in Animal Science from NMSU. Cathy currently does not have any four-legged friends of her own, but looks forward to having them in the future. She spends her free time hiking, biking, camping, and watching the NFL and PBR. Cathy has been caring for pets at Aztec since May 2006.

Ellen, Registered Veterinary Technician

Ellen graduated in 1986 from the Veterinary Technician program in Texas. She has an Associates Degree in Applied Science. Ellen's four-legged companions include 3 Welsh Corgis, 2 turtles, and 5 ducks. She enjoys gardening, reading, and doing herding and obedience with her dogs. Ellen has been caring for pets at Aztec off and on for several years, but joined us permanently in June 2007.

Daniel, Registered Veterinary Technician

Daniel graduated from CNM with an Associate's degree in Applied Science. He hails all the way from the beautiful island of St. Croix. Daniel has several pets, including 2 dogs, Ruca and Kourry, and 2 cats, Murphy Lee and Matilda Squeeks. He enjoys taking his dogs on adventures in the New Mexican wilderness, working on home improvements with his partner, and most of all enjoying life! Daniel has been caring for pets at Aztec since February 2010.

Julie, Technician Assistant

Julie is a technician assistant and is working on her degree in biology at UNM. Julie came to Aztec as a student mentor, as she has hopes of becoming a veterinarian. After a few months, we invited Julie to be part of our team. She has two dogs, Lulu and Whiskey, and a frog named Gus. When she is not at work or school, Julie enjoys playing soccer and golf. Julie has been caring for pets at Aztec since June 2010.

Eddie, Technician Assistant

Eddie is a technician assistant who came to us after spending two years working on the Mobile Spay and Neuter Van for the Animal Welfare Department. Eddie graduated from Pima in 2007 and received his certificate in the Veterinary Assistant program. He continues to learn and develop his veterinary nursing skills while assisting both the doctors and technicians. Eddie has two Chihuahuas, Armando and Bella. He spends his free time fishing, playing sports, and watching movies. Eddie has been caring for pets at Aztec since January 2011.
