Dr. Shannon Pease was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has always been an avid animal lover and knew at a young age that she wanted to be a veterinarian. She received her Bachelor of Science at New Mexico State University, then moved to Oregon where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Oregon State University. Upon graduation, she was eager to come home to Albuquerque. She has experience in emergency medicine as well as general practice. Her interests include soft tissue surgery and feline internal medicine. She has two cats named Kenzie and Koda who like to cause mischief and she plans to open her home up to a dog in need of a family.
When she is not at the clinic, you can find her running along the Bosque, playing soccer and kickball, hiking or spending time with her family. She is passionate about history, art and music and always enjoys reading a good book!
