In the interest of protecting you, your animal companions, and keeping our staff safe, we are continuing curbside service. We are committed to keeping our hospital clean and safe as we navigate our way through this unprecedented and evolving situation.
We are currently offering all services, and we will continue to follow our COVID-19 check-in and check-out procedures until further notice. To make your visit as stress-free as possible, please follow these protocols
- Upon arrival for your appointment, please call (505) 265-4939 to let our staff know you are in the parking lot. Because of our high call volume, you may need to try calling again.
- Please wait in your car while the staff preps for your appointment and be on the lookout for a call on your cellphone from our doctor or vet tech to discuss your pet’s history.
- Once history is obtained, a staff member will go out to your car to escort your pet to the exam room.
- Upon completion of the exam, a staff member will bring your pet back to your car.
- Exceptions will be made for euthanasia.
- For your convenience, a walk-up service window is now available for food and prescription pick-up.
Clients and staff with a fever or cough or reason to believe they have been exposed to COVID-19 are asked to stay home.
Due to overwhelming demand, we are limiting quantities of food and medication refills to what clients have previously ordered. If you would like to order more than a one-month supply of your pet’s medication, or avoid coming to the clinic, please visit our website to use one of our two online pharmacies, Vetsource or Covetrus (formerly Vets First Choice).
